Crossville -- Elevate Your Space

In my first post I'd like to introduce you to Crossville Inc., where it is American made.

"Crossville, Inc. manufactures and distributes premium Porcelain Stone® tile throughout the United States. From the first tile we produced in 1986 to the most recent tile to come off the line. One marked a milestone in American tile production as the first domestically manufactured large-format porcelain tile. The other, no less groundbreaking, is a reflection of the most innovative production techniques, trend-settings designs and sustainable manufacturing efforts in the tile industry." -Crossville Inc

I would like to add a side note here that Crossville does import a few of the tile lines offered in the catalogue but for the most part products are manufactured in Crossville Tennessee.

Here are just a few Crossville programs worth mentioning

In the Tile Take-Back program they do just that. Crossville has developed a system where they process ceramic and porcelain tiles back into a powder and use that powder to manufacture new tile. So what does this mean? This means that during a renovation instead of sending the previously installed tile to a landfill the used tile can be sent back to Crossville and be repurposed into a new tile.

Crossville supports the battle against breast cancer by donating a portion of all Glass Blox sales to The Common Thread for the Cure.

"There is ample evidence to support the theory that school design impacts learning and student outcomes. Crossville understands that these design implications go beyond aesthetic considerations, ranging from indoor air quality and to ease of maintenance to the emotional and behavioral influences of color, with the additional concerns of price and durability." With Crossville's Class Act program the answer is easy for these education facilities to select durable floor coverings with versatility in design.

Crossville, Inc. has so much more to offer by way of product, sustainability practices, programs and innovative design solutions. Please visit  http://www.crossvilleinc.com/ to see what this plant in Tennessee has to offer the world.
